The IAG Content Engagement Strategist is an analyst-level position within Truist Wealth’s Investment Advisory Group (IAG) that supports senior leaders and subject matter experts in content creation and development, design proficiencies, client and advisor support, and effective communication of content strategy across teams. The role has been designed to support IAG’s client and advisor engagement practices to amplify IAG’s content and expertise. The Strategist will, furthermore, collaborate with IAG leaders and business partners to aid content engagement strategies in support of client growth goals and the overall success of Truist Wealth.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The IAG Content Engagement Strategist role will primarily support IAG’s client and advisor engagement practices to amplify our content and expertise to drive engagement and enable net asset flows. The role requires some proficiency in content creation and development, graphic and presentation design capabilities, web content management, and effective communication. In addition, a working, foundational knowledge of investments and a curiosity and eagerness to learn about global markets, portfolio construction, and assessing client needs is essential to help propel our story telling capabilities. As such, the Strategist role requires evidence of a professional aptitude in both creative and technical writing.

  • Creating and developing compelling and effective visual content for greatest impact with clients and advisors (publications, presentations, social media posts, and video) for both quick turn and evergreen content needs

  • Providing editorial oversight and refinement of collateral materials to enhance IAG messaging in support of our investment capabilities ensuring consistency of voice and tone throughout communications

  • Supporting IAG leaders and key business partners to assess and communicate effectiveness of content strategy and actively support teammates in becoming better and more efficient content creators

  • Assisting in positioning IAG resources/expertise for optimal impact through content analysis, assessment of distribution channels and client and prospect meeting events

  • Collaborating with senior leaders in support of client growth goals, growth of net asset flows, and the success of Truist Wealth

  • Staying aware of content engagement evolution and progresses Truist Wealth capabilities to take advantage of methodological and technological advancements.

Required Qualifications:

  • Preference for a Bachelor’s degree and a solid background in analytical writing, content development, graphic and presentation design, and web content management (including digital/social media marketing)

  • 0.5 to 3 years of professional knowledge in content creation with some industry knowledge of investments, finance or banking. Evidence of substitute experience either via internships, academic (e.g. graduate degree) or professional (e.g. consulting, public policy) credentials/designations would be valued as a substitute for formal work experience.

  • Demonstrable evidence of verbal and written articulacy: ability to translate complex analytical information into understandable terms for IAG teammates, investment advisors, clients and other internal and external audiences

  • Exceptional communication skills both verbal and written terms

  • Experience with content creation and development tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Unily, HTML, Cision, etc. In addition, the role depends on and requires expertise with MS Office, including proficiency in MS PowerPoint and MS Excel

  • Ability to take initiative, multi-task and manage time effectively. The ideal candidate will be able to show professional conscientiousness, an aptitude for teamwork and detail orientation with prior work experience and efforts.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience or strong intellectual interest in/curiosity about finance, investments and economics. Evidence of writing, analytical work, project management, and presentation experience is ideal.

  • 1-3 years of professional experience in content development, graphic and presentation design and advanced editing

  • Evidence of academic and/or professional accomplishments in a fast-paced environment
