Acentra seeks a Healthcare Solution Architect to join our growing team.

Job Summary

As a Senior Healthcare Solution Architect, you will play an integral role in bridging business and technology to meet organizational needs. You will be responsible for solutioning, designing, and supporting the implementation of new business capabilities and technologies to enhance business processes. You will communicate your expert understanding to both internal and external stakeholders.

As a Senior Healthcare Solution Architect you will be responsible for solutioning, designing and bridging the business and technology to fulfil the business needs. Solution Architect supports implementation of new business capabilities and migration of new technology enhancing business processes and communicates expert understanding to internal and external stakeholders. This role is a member of the Design Engineering Excellence Team and you will report to the Director of Design Engineering Excellence.

Job Responsibilities

  • Creates high-level architectural and design specifications, with attention to system integration, interoperability, and feasibility analysis.

  • Works with customers on presenting technical and business solutions for complex integration requirements.

  • Leads client demos and presentations to showcase solution capabilities and value.

  • Evaluates business needs and transforms them into functional and technical system requirements.

  • Collaborates with key stakeholders to translate business and technical requirements into actionable and implementable components.

  • Demonstrates expertise in designing and developing cloud-agnostic, service-based solutions.

  • Exhibits in-depth knowledge of Medicaid systems and associated regulatory frameworks.

  • Possesses extensive experience with Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA), microservices, and API-based solutions.

  • Conducts Decision Analysis and Resolution (DAR) to determine the most optimized solutions.

  • Develops prototypes, proofs of concept, and wireframe models to demonstrate potential solutions, as applicable.

  • Identifies opportunities for process improvement to enhance quality and optimize costs.

  • Proficient in creating workflow diagrams, conducting process mapping, and performing gap analysis to assess current (AS-IS) and proposed (TO-BE) processes.

  • This role may require travel approximately 10% of the time.

Required Qualifications/Experience and Knowledge

  • Bachelor’s Degree with 9 or 10 years of relevant experience, or a Master’s Degree with 7 years of experience, in business solutioning and implementation within the healthcare domain.

  • Strong expertise in SDLC methodologies, including waterfall, hybrid agile, and agile/scrum frameworks, with the ability to collaborate effectively with business units and technology teams on major initiatives.

  • Self-driven and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously with minimal supervision.

  • Extensive experience providing business and technical solution guidance across various subject matter areas.

  • In-depth understanding of healthcare business operations, technology systems, tools, and applications.

  • Excellent customer relationship management skills, with proven ability to deliver compelling presentations and facilitate productive meetings.

  • Demonstrated experience in leading Joint Application Development (JAD) sessions and presenting complex business requirements through client demonstrations.

Preferred Experience/Skills

  • Provides industry insights, market trends, and best practices to influence continuous improvement initiatives, collaborating closely with senior management.

  • Keeps abreast of new business policies, technology and market developments (including federal regulations) and suggests adoption of new technologies and tools to improve quality of business solutioning and related deliverables.

Compensation

The compensation for this role is $110,000 to $160,000 base salary.

Based on our compensation program, an applicant’s position placement in the pay range will depend on various considerations, such as years of applicable experience and skill level.
