We are currently hiring a summer intern on our Legal Team. This is a remote opportunity based in Atlanta, GA, and requires a weekly commitment of about 15-20 hours/week, or about 3-4 hours/day, Monday-Friday.
Corcentric’s Legal Department is responsible for advising Corcentric’s business, sales, and leadership teams on a broad range of legal matters ranging from corporate governance and compliance matters, advertising, trademark and copyright issues, contract review and negotiation, litigation, labor and employment issues, data privacy, regulatory, and policy matters. This position will offer an intern the opportunity to be involved in many varied aspects of a corporate legal practice.
Responsibilities
As a Legal Intern at Corcentric, you will be primarily tasked with researching, analyzing, and drafting presentations and reports with appropriate supervision. You will support the legal team with multiple projects. You will attend meetings with our legal team and businesspersons across the Corcentric organization, conduct document reviews and participate in other legal projects as assigned.
Requirements
Be enrolled in a college, university, or law school with an interest in law
Have strong written and interpersonal communication skills
Have significant facility with Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Excel Outlook, and PowerPoint
Have advanced research and analytical skills
Be well-organized, able to prioritize and multi-task several projects at once
Be discrete and able to maintain confidence
Have meticulous attention to detail and an ability to spot issues.
