Join our growing Finance team as the FP&A Manager – Data Analytics. This role will be foundational in defining our centralized approach to data analysis. This position will focus on delivering actionable analytics to drive efficiency in deploying our people and assets. The initial focus will be on building labor analytics with the opportunity to build a team and expand into other business-critical workstreams. Additionally, the role offers the chance to work in diverse areas, including financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic initiatives. Success will depend on strong analytical skills, financial acumen, effective communication, robust data manipulation and architecture skills, resourcefulness, and initiative.

BrandSafway offers a competitive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance along with a generous 401k plan. Salary range for this position is $110,000-$130,000. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop data sources, visualization, and analytics strategy to drive actionable insight into the efficacy of our deployment of labor

  • Compare metrics across locations and divisions to benchmark top performers and facilitate translation of best practices

  • Develop an understanding of contract structures and implications to customer billing and their impact on financial performance

  • Work with region and HQ teams to expand financial models and analytical tools to ensure the delivery of accurate and timely analyses; utilize existing systems to compile consolidated forecasts (short and long-range) and analyze historical results to determine detailed trends and business drivers

  • Support and maintain the end market sizing and growth modeling

  • Partner with business development teams on peer group benchmarking

  • Support additional Financial Planning and Analysis processes as needed

  • Communication and understanding of the models and analyses to senior members of the organization

  • Ad-hoc requirements on strategic initiatives, acquisitions, cash/earnings initiatives, etc.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • BS/BA/MBA in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Approx. 7+ years of experience in a Finance role, particularly Financial Planning and Analysis and Data Analytics

  • Must be a team player. Must have a critical eye for process issues and be able to suggest change. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required. Outstanding quantitative and analytical aptitude is a must.

  • Should be an expert in MS Excel, proficient with Power BI or a Similar Visualization Tool

  • Experience with service-based enterprises.

  • Ability to identify, validate, normalize, analyze, draw conclusions, and make recommendations based on complicated disparate datasets

  • Ability to use data analytics to influence decision-making and drive organizational change

  • Familiarity with Hyperion Planning, SQL, and other OLAP reporting/budgeting tools, including data warehousing

  • Ability to create excellent working relationships with senior management and, improve continuity in a global organization, and work within a matrix organization

  • Ability to work in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment.

  • Open to possible travel (5%-10%)
