The Coca-Cola Company Manager of Live Event Production in Atlanta, Georgia

As a member of the Live Event Production & Technologies team this role will work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment. The Production Manager collaborates with stakeholders, vendors, executive leadership, Coke Studios and global technical teams to manage projects from intake to final program reconciliation. The role includes content development and design (creative, content, video, run of show, technical requirements, resourcing crews) and delivery of an experience that meets the client objectives leveraging the tools we have available in-house.

Responsibilities:

  • Define and execute the production strategy and project plans for each project, directly or collaborating with various teams;

  • Define, obtain, and manage structured feedback and approvals to ensure that deliverables are being reviewed against established project objectives by all necessary stakeholders, including clients, project teams, and other creative teams;

  • Provide collaborative creative and artistic direction on projects to ensure that the client's unique business objectives are met;

  • Develop and create concepts based on the client's business requirements while maximizing messaging effectiveness.

  • Generate and maintain production/technical documents (run of show, production/crew schedule, rehearsal schedule, breakout flow, presentation and video specs, presenter specs, etc.).

  • Write creative briefs that clearly articulate communication objectives and success criteria to inform and direct work and creative development;

  • Be a good steward of the Company's spending and resources;

  • Be conscious of the sustainability and environmental impact of our work

  • Operate and manage Audio and Video Production Equipment and Software including NDI technology

  • Consult and manage Live/Hybrid/Virtual Event Production, Virtual Event Portals, Encoding Hardware/Software, CDN solutions

  • Collaborate with the Digital Workplace team to continuously evaluate new features of our digital products and determine where we have feature gaps that need to be added to the roadmap

  • Ability to operate and run meetings effectively in potentially high stress situations

  • Ensures back-up plans are in place for each production

  • Ability to pivot and be flexible on production in the case of technical errors or last minute run of show changes while maintaining a seamless front-end experience for employees

Job Qualifications:

  • Experience with working with Microsoft products preferred (Teams Meetings & Events, Yammer, Stream, SharePoint)

  • Experience managing Unified Communication Tools preferred (web and video conferencing, mobility, desktop sharing, instant messaging)

  • Experience with Hardware and Software Encoders (Tricaster, Wirecast, vMix, OBS) preferred

  • Experience with network configuration and support preferred

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred

  • 5 - 10+ years of experience working as a meetings and event producer or related

  • Experience working with agile methodology and routines

  • Demonstrated ability to understand and discuss technical concepts, manage tradeoffs, and evaluate requests with stakeholders, managing conflicting requests and priorities

  • Demonstrated effectiveness in working cross-functionally to deliver products/services

  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communications skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills - can build relationships and lead and influence across a large, highly networked organization

  • Experience working in a complex organization

  • Self-starter with a problem-solving mindset; ability to work with minimal supervision, and to effectively delegate work to others

Travel Required: 0-25%
