How you'll help us Keep Climbing (overview & key responsibilities)

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Analyze the Network schedule to ensure appropriate maintenance ground time for each fleet

  • Work closely with Line Planning and Network Planning to manage requirements and priorities across teams

  • Work with Station Managers to identify and communicate maintenance demand needs

  • Develop and manage dashboards that aggregate and clearly communicate large amounts of data across divisions and teams

What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience

  • Proficiency and/or familiarity with data analysis tools

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

  • Must be able to manage multiple tasks with constantly changing priorities in an efficient and timely manner

  • Must be able to interact with various departments and negotiate solutions that are acceptable to each organization

  • Must have the ability to handle sensitive issues with appropriate discretion

  • Must be performing satisfactorily in current position

  • Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data.

  • Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles.

  • Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.

  • Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States.

What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications)

  • Proficiency with programming and tools such as Alteryx ,Tableau, and/or Power BI strongly preferred

  • Maintenance Planning and/or Network Planning experience preferred

  • Technical experience in aircraft, component, line and/or engine maintenance preferred

  • Knowledge of Delta systems such as SCEPTRE preferred

  • Four-year degree preferred

  • Demonstrate accuracy, thoroughness, and orderliness in performing work assignments and possess strong technical knowledge and ability to write technical information in easily understood terms

  • Ability to blend management skills with technical expertise and excel in planning, setting individual goals, and determining courses of action to effectively attain quality objectives

  • Ability to manage project execution and follow up, monitor and manage information, manage interactions with others, balance multiple priorities, work under pressure within established time constraints, meet deadlines and objectives, and proactively take a customer service approach to all activities which epitomize Delta's service objectives to both internal and external customers

  • Successful candidate should be highly motivated, self-directed, possess excellent oral and written communications skills, have strong analytical capabilities, be able to work successfully across business unit lines and at all levels (executive to front-line), have effective presentation skills, be a successful mediator and problem-solver, and be able to build and maintain effective work relationships
