Crawford & Company Client Account Manager in Atlanta, Georgia

Position Summary

Generate new business, sustain existing client revenue through client relationships, utilization of marketing and sales materials, formal client presentations, and developing proposals.

Enhances customer satisfaction and increases sales and claims assignment opportunities through establishment of customer relationships and performance of account management activities.

Responsibilities

  • Client Relationship:

  • Establishes relationships and manage pre and post-sale client relationship to maximize product extension sales to existing customers

  • Maintains a high proficiency/knowledge of all organizational workflows, and associated management tools.

  • Maintains scheduled telephone and/or personal contacts with client established program point of contact(s) with focus toward increasing their business.

  • Analyzes program reports to identify client opportunities to build and establish rapport on increasing digital program utilization.

  • Maintains and updates accurate information in the company’s Salesforce.com and operating system.

  • Analyzes program performance data and prepares client reports.

  • Serves as a liaison between clients and operations for quality, timeliness, or other program issues.

  • Follows up with clients to ensure assignment issues have been corrected.

  • Assists in the implementation and training for new client programs.

  • Strategy:

  • Develops sales plans, procedures, and strategies.

  • Drives interest and sales through strategic selling techniques.

  • Remains current and aware of market trends--competitive practices and customer needs.

  • Explores and probes appropriate client contracts for increased business opportunities and program expansion of services.

  • Participates as needed in key client stewardship meetings as determined by management.

  • Provides monthly/quarterly internal status reports on program growth action plan.

  • Keeps others informed verbally and in writing of activities and problems within assigned area of responsibility; refers matters beyond limits of authority to manager.

  • Must partner with other divisions for total client solutions.

  • Other:

  • Always upholds the Crawford Code of Business Conduct.

  • Administers and upholds Crawford Personnel Procedures

Requirements

  • Requires a bachelor's degree in Business or similar specialty, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • 5+ years of client management and contact (call) center experience or equivalent

  • Requires some overnight travel

  • Must complete continuing education requirements as outlined by Crawford Educational Services and other identified training as need.

  • Exceptional understanding of insurance, contact centers program procedures and processes.

  • Exceptional verbal communication and writing skills.

  • Persuasiveness.

  • Exhibited understanding of electronic claims management systems and contact management systems.

  • Exceptional time management skills and ability to work well independently.

  • Strong commitment to client satisfaction.

  • Established time management capabilities.

  • Understanding of the sales and marketing process.
