The Coca-Cola Company operates in nearly every country in the world, and we sell 1.9 billion beverages a day. Given our vast scale, one of our best opportunities to accelerate profitable growth is to tailor our plans, planograms, and execution to store-level shopper needs. Moving from a one-size-fits all approach to a segmented approach is proven to increase store productivity, but the resulting planning and operational complexities have limited our ability to scale actions based on segmentation insights. The Senior Director of Integrated Execution and Segmentation main objective will be to lead the evolution of our segmentation capability so we can optimize outlet-level productivity at scale through segmented plans, planograms, and execution.

Evolving our segmentation capability will require a visionary business leader that can develop, align, and lead a value driving, multi-year segmentation strategy in partnership with cross-functional business and technical teams. The work with entail three main elements. The first element is to develop a multi-year segmentation strategy and roadmap in collaboration with business, Bottler, and technical leads. Once we have the plan, the next step will be to partner with technical teams to guide the refinement and integration of the underlying segmentation capability. The final element is to define and guide the creation of closed-loop execution analytics required to prioritize, measure, and improve segmented actions over time. The role's scope will span from front-line, store-level execution upstream through brand and strategic planning. The work will blend operational, category advisory, data, analytic, and financial elements and require partnerships across North America, Global, Bottler, and CONA teams.

What You'll Do for Us

  • Partner with a broad cross-functional team to define and execute a roadmap for evolving our segmentation capability and integrating it into planning, space management, and execution processes.

  • Define business requirements and work with technical resources to build the analytic and automation capabilities required to support segmented planning, planogram creation, and outlet-level actions at scale.

  • Guide the development of closed-loop analytics to evaluate and improve the impact of segmented plans, planograms, and actions.

  • Work with CONA and Bottlers to bring segmented actions to life in outlet through SFA and execution measurement solutions.

  • Support the Category Advisory team as they sell for category captaincy and develop segmented planograms.

  • Support RGM, Channel, and Brand teams as they craft the annual business plan and target opportunities.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree minimum, MBA or similar preferred

  • Strong communication and influencing skills with a focus on making the complex simple.

  • 10+ years of experience in operations or category advisory

  • Demonstrated ability to define technical business requirements and guide the development of analytic and technical solutions.

  • Proven capability development and deployment skills including project management.

  • Ability to engage with technical and data SMEs to translate business requirements into design decisions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of syndicated, operational, and performance data with an ability to conduct basic ad-hoc analysis and visualize data.

  • Ability to use syndicated data, operational KBIs, and performance results to evaluate business performance, identify improvement opportunities, and tell the story with that data.

  • Familiarity with annual business and customer planning processes

  • Experience with testing methodologies to measure and prove financial impact based on assortment and execution actions.
