The Coca-Cola Company Senior Director, People & Culture in Atlanta, Georgia

The Senior Director, People & Culture in The Coca-Cola Company is one of the most critical human resources roles that combines the core skills of organization consulting, operational leadership, and people subject matter expertise to deliver on the people and culture strategy for the organization. This role requires thriving in a high-impact, fast-paced environment as the impact of the role is across all the associates (in scope) as well as the larger People and Culture function. The incumbent will need to lead with empathy, demonstrate strong business acumen and an enterprise mindset, and deliver with passion, displaying all the leadership behaviors that enable a culture of high performing authentic team.

The primary focus of this role will be to strategically align our people and culture initiatives with the goals and objectives of the designated global client groups: Global Customer and Commercial and Finance Hub within Platform Services. Through partnership and consulting, the role will work to enhance the capabilities of our employees, develop, and nurture leadership potential, and foster a supportive and growth-oriented culture. By focusing on these key areas, the role aims to create a dynamic, high performing and skilled workforce that will drive the success and expansion of our business in these critical for success areas.

What You'll Do for Us

  • Partner with leaders to do workforce planning and organization design, linked to the strategic vision and current priorities of their organization.

  • Conduct needs analyses to identify and establish priorities regarding people plans and development activities.

  • Partner with the Talent Acquisition team to identify staffing requirements needed to meet the goals and objectives of the organization; works with business leaders to participate in activities to promote the hiring and retention of a qualified and diverse workforce.

  • Facilitate, participate in, and develop action plans arising out of the company's talent management process.

  • Understand problems and deliver solutions, along with people leaders, to create and sustain high performance in teams.

  • Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations; partner with Employee Relations to ensure investigation and resolution of associate complaints, issues and concerns; partner with internal/external legal counsel to respond to and defend lawsuits and complaints filed with outside agencies.

  • Implement and execute other initiatives as directed by manager or required by the Company.

  • Drives fit- for- purpose integrated talent management, development, compensation, and performance management strategies to build internal and external talent pipeline, ensuring a sustainable bench of growing and ready now talent for key positions throughout the organization.

  • Designs and implements innovative high impact engagement strategies and programs that allow the organization to attract, retain and invest in the best talent and reward the high performers.

  • Acts as coach and trusted business advisor to influence business leaders in the areas of leadership effectiveness, team dynamics, organization design and effectiveness, change management, , capability building, and the implications of short and long-term decisions and strategies.

  • Partner with COEs to lead Talent and succession planning: leverage multiple talent strategies to ensure the recruitment, development, and retention of an inclusive and diverse talent pipeline.

  • Provides organizational effectiveness and change management expertise to the business. Ensures the right execution of organizational restructuring and rewiring initiatives.

  • Change Management: lead development of clear case for change, desired outcomes, accurate scope, clear roles and decision-making, and effective communication of the change.

  • Culture and leadership brings the leadership framework to life by leading with heart and mind; partners with leadership teams to identify areas of opportunity and works with teams to ensure these are addressed.

Experience & Background

  • Bachelor's Degree, Human Resources or related field or relevant experience required; post graduate degree in related field or MBA preferred.

  • Minimum of 10 years exempt-level Human Resources experience required.

  • Previous consumer goods, manufacturing, or distribution experience; must have previous experience with Talent Management, Organizational development/effectiveness, employee/labor relations, and change management.
