Are you looking to join a dynamic Healthcare team in the finace area....well look no more. A local hospital in Atlanta is seeking a Accounts Payable Specialist with the following experience: System Policies & Procedures and the EMS operations manual, to coordinate all aspects of EMS Accounts Payable needs. The Senior Account Payable Specialist performs the analysis required to resolve complex accounts payable problems with vendors and ensures that all accounts payable transactions are recorded properly to post to general ledger. Works closely with vendors, purchasing agents, receiving, and accounting personnel to resolve problems and disputes. Keys/ scans invoices into PeopleSoft, prepares month and journal entries, match checks to paid invoice back up, and files A/P paid files. Supports A/P Manager and Grady A/P department processing travel reimbursements , audit request and all other duties assigned. Provide the highest level of customer Service to internal / external customers. Required: Through knowledge of basic accounting procedures, . Hands- on experience with accounting bookkeeping software is necessary. Intermediate MS excel skilld inckuding VLookups and pivot tables. Accuracy and attention to details, Aptitude for numbers and quantiative skillsProven experience as a Knowledge of purchasing and receiving processes. Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.Excellent data entry skills. Ability to communicate effectively in writing as appropriate for the needs of the audience. Must possess the ability to keep accurate records, multi-task, follow oral/written instructions and work independently.

salary: $23 - $23.5 per hour
