We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Temp Accounts Payable Specialist to join our client's finance team on a temporary basis. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently processing invoices, handling payments, and ensuring that all accounts payable activities are completed accurately and on time. This temporary position is a great opportunity for someone with a strong background in accounts payable to contribute to a dynamic team while gaining valuable experience in a fast-paced environment.

salary: $23 - $27 per hour

shift: First

work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM

education: High School

Responsibilities

• Invoice Processing: Review, verify, and process invoices for payment, ensuring accuracy and proper authorization.

• Payment Management: Prepare and execute payment runs, including checks, ACH, and wire transfers, ensuring timely payment of all vendor invoices.

• Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve discrepancies with vendors.

• Vendor Management: Maintain relationships with vendors, respond to inquiries, and address any issues related to invoices and payments.

• Expense Reports: Review and process employee expense reports in compliance with company policies.

• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and organized records of all accounts payable transactions and supporting documents.

• Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies, financial regulations, and internal controls.

• Month-End Close: Assist with month-end closing activities, including accruals and account reconciliations.

• Reporting: Generate and analyze accounts payable reports as needed to support management and audit requirements.

• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve accounts payable processes and implement best practices.
