Project Manager - Closure Systems, Brose North America, Auburn Hills, MI. Plan, manage, and coordinate series production projects including validation of product designs and engineering change management for mechatronic passenger vehicle front and rear side door and swing gate door closure systems (including e-latches, e-latch electronic control unit (ECU), and crash brackets) and development projects (quotation, development, validation, rampup, launch, series production) for Brose mechatronic closure systems, to be produced at Brose plants in N.A. Plan, lead, and set project financial and technical milestones and deliverables for N.A. product development and series production for Brose mechatronic front and rear side door and swing gate door closure systems covering 2015 to 2029 and beyond projects and to meet packaging and Product Development Process (PDP) standards. Guide cross functional team with Project and Industrial Engineers, Quality and Logistics Planners, and Project Controller to meet each project's deliverables. Perform target cost management, product cost optimization, and financial analyses to successfully manage and deliver projects from automotive component concept development and industrialization to commercialization and continuous improvement throughout the product lifecycle. Bachelor, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or related. Forty-eight months' experience as Project Manager, Program Manager, Key Account Manager, or related, planning and coordinating development projects (development, launch, series production) for mechatronic closure or door systems, to be produced at plants, or related.
