**Project Controls Manager** **Position Summary:** The Project Controls Manager oversees all aspects of project controls for complex construction projects, ensuring safety and quality. Reporting to the Business Unit Leader, this role involves developing project control strategies, managing budgets and schedules, and ensuring compliance with industry best practices for sustainable, profitable performance. **Essential Functions:** - Develop and implement project control strategies and plans. - Advise project managers and stakeholders on best practices and P6 scheduling. - Manage execution of construction project contracts, ensuring compliance with specifications, deadlines, budgets, and safety requirements. - Oversee the contracting process, including bid management, RFQs, and purchase orders. - Prepare budget estimates and manage cost tracking, employing EVM and other estimation methods. - Develop project schedules and plans, applying WBS, Critical Path Analysis, and other techniques. - Implement construction project planning, risk management, quality control, documentation, and reporting. - Prepare reports on project performance using EVM metrics. - Manage change requests and interpret contract terms for stakeholders. - Ensure safety practices and compliance with regulations throughout the project lifecycle. - Communicate and manage relationships with all project participants. **Requirements:** - Bachelor\'s or Master\'s degree in Business, Engineering, or Construction Management, or 10+ years of relevant experience. - Experience managing multiple construction projects valued at \$25M+. - Expertise in EVMS and Total Cost Management. - Strong leadership and collaboration skills. - Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, and other relevant software.
