Description

We are seeking a meticulous and diligent Data Entry Clerk to be part of our team in Auburn, Maine. The role involves transferring data from a previous system into our new proprietary software, handling customer service tasks, and managing email correspondence. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity, providing a hands-on experience in the service industry.

Responsibilities:

• Transferring data from various sources into the company's proprietary software

• Providing exceptional customer service to our clients

• Managing email correspondence to ensure effective communication

• Utilizing Microsoft Excel for data manipulation and alphabetizing

• Acting as a backup to the receptionist, ensuring smooth operations

• Updating contract pricing as needed

• Organizing files and documents for easy retrieval and efficient office management

• Handling scanning tasks as required for digital record keeping

Requirements

• Demonstrated proficiency in Data Entry with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally.

• Experience with Email Correspondence, able to compose and respond to emails in a timely manner.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word for data processing and document creation.

• Experience with scanning documents and ensuring their proper storage and cataloging.

• Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Strong multitasking skills and ability to prioritize work based on urgency and importance.

• Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
