The Division of Addiction Science Prevention and Treatment within the Department of Psychiatry has an opening for a full-time Clinical and Pilot Project Research Coordinator (Entry – Senior) The Clinical and Pilot Project Research Coordinator (Entry – Senior) for this NIH-funded clinical effectiveness trial will serve as Clinical Research Coordinator at about 0.75 FTE for this trial and as Pilot Project Program Coordinator at about 0.25 FTE. As the Clinical Research Coordinator (0.75 FTE), the Research Service Professional will be responsible for overseeing, implementing, and supporting all research activities for this clinical trial. Roles and responsibilities include providing management and oversight for an NIH/NIDA-funded clinical trial comparing two psychotherapy/behavioral interventions in adolescents with co-occurring post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and substance use disorders. This position will be responsible for study coordination, data collection, and regulatory management. As Pilot Project Program Coordinator (about 0.25 FTE) the Research Service Professional will be responsible for working with Pilot Project Core (PPC) Lead and pilot project awardees to coordinate pilot project start-up, identify timelines for tracking interim progress milestones, organizing, documenting and tracking annual RFPs, Letters of Intent (LOIs), applications, review and scoring of new pilot project applications and organizing the annual RM-CRC Research Day at AMC. · Acts as primary contact for study participants, research team (located at multiple entities), community partners, and study sponsor/University representatives; organizes communication protocols among study staff. · Assures adherence to all research standards as set forth by the National Institutes of Health (NIH), the Office for Human Research Protections (OHRP), University of Colorado Denver (UCD), Colorado Multiple Institutional Review Board (COMIRB), and other pertinent regulatory agencies. · Coordinates all submissions and communication with COMIRB; ensures all regulatory standards/HIPAA compliance are maintained. Assures protocol compliance and completes necessary records; creates and maintains Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Accurately enters source data into study database in a timely manner and recognizes and tracks adverse events and serious events and promptly notifies appropriate parties. · Oversees study recruitment process and manages scheduling monitoring participants visits. Conducts the informed consent process and ensures proper documentation. · Work closely with the Pilot Project Core (PPC) Lead and pilot project awardees to coordinate pilot project start-up and progress monitoring for each pilot project. · Will assist PPC Lead in preparing RFPs, track submission documents and manage communications. · Assist the PPC Lead in organizing an annual RM-CRC Cannabis Research Day at AMC · Assist PPC Lead in developing and administering an annual PPC satisfaction survey.

– this role is eligible for a hybrid schedule of 3-4 days per week on campus and as needed for in-person meetings.
