The Customer Account Representative protects Accounts Receivable (A/R) of Wagner Equipment Co. while maintaining a congenial relationship with customers and inter-company personnel in a manner that reflects the companys vision of working as One Professional Team. Pay Rate:$48,099 -$66,139 annually. Pay rate is dependent upon education & experience. Essential Functions: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions. Completes previous days credit ratings Prints follow up list from Wynne system or DBS Plans out call schedule for the day Makes collection calls (10 to 20 each day) Helps internal customers with credit exceed calls and external customers with information about their account Sends collection letters, including: reminder letter, pre-COD, and ten-day demands letter Names and addresses file maintenance (name, address, and tax status changes) Prepares accounts when they are assigned to the Legal Account Specialist, including gathering credit information, invoice copies, and summary of the collection history Handles incoming calls to give verbal credit approvals for rentals Responds to managements inquiry as to account status Reconciles accounts Prepares and participates in account review meeting, including monthly A/R review meeting Researches accounts and prepares adjustments for zero wash refunds and reapplies misapplied or unapplied payments Gathers facts about any disputes, refers the disputed issues to the appropriate department, follows up on the status of the dispute, and makes sure information is provided with the Credit Manager to enter into the dispute Other duties as assigned by manager Required Education and Experience: High School Diploma or GED 1+ years of credit or finance experience Physical Demands & Competencies: Standing, walking, talking, sitting, use of hands & hearing Sedentary work that primarily involves sitting/standing but may require occasionally lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds Data Entry, telephone, reading/writing, reasoning, organizational, communication & math skills Safety & Product Knowledge Basic knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint and Access Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Excel Work Environment: Noise: Quiet Indoors Other Duties: Job Offers are contingent upon all required pre-employment screenings which may include but are not limited to background checks, drug/alcohol testing, fit for duty testing, and any other job-related tests/screenings.
