Job Summary and Qualifications

Responsible for expert knowledge of all Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) procedures. Is sought out by others for advise, training, and clarification of job related knowledge. Communicates, coordinates, delegates, and assigns the daily activities of the MRI Department. Facilitates, organizes, and reviews daily workflow to deliver maximal throughput of all MRI procedures on customers ranging in age from newborn to late adulthood. Prioritizes, motivates, and promotes quality patient care to support the Mission, Vision and Values of HealthONE/HCA. Ensures facility technical and documentation expectations are consistent with JCAHO regulations and HealthONE/HCA standards. Positively demonstrates concern and consideration when interacting with patients, medical staff, and employees. Demonstrates independent critical thinking skills for daily activity and patient flow of the vascular department and assumes accountability for personal and team contributions. Knowledge of Pacs Administration. Willing to cross- train to one or more modalities as required. Performs other duties as assigned in the absence of the PACS Administrator and or Director of Radiology.

What qualifications you will need:

  • ARRT current and CE compliance. Current BLS certification

  • Graduate of 24-month AMA approved school of Radiology Technology. Certified by the ARRT.

  • 1 year diagnostic experience required. 2 years MRI experience required. Supervisor experience preferred.

  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

  • Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)

  • High School Graduate / GED

  • Certificate
