Whole Foods Market Sr Quality Assurance Specialist in Aurora, Colorado
Job DescriptionThe Sr. Quality Assurance Specialist is responsible for upholding all Whole Foods Market and USDA standards, including the HACCP program, and for ensuring overall quality controls at the facility, including sanitation and safety standards. The QA supports the QA Team by developing and mentoring QA TMs and ensuring the team meets all applicable WFM health and safety requirements.
Responsibilities
Uphold all Whole Foods and NSF, SQF, Food safety plan, FSMA standards, including HACCP.
Communicate and work closely with Team Leaders and Team Members on projects.
Communicate with the NSF and FDA auditor in charge.
Hold others accountable for GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) monitoring.
Perform daily Sanitation walk-through.
Swab for microbiologic testing and other testing.
Communicates with Global QA leadership for processes and SSOP updates.
Keep accurate record of logs and documentation as per SOP
Train all Team Leaders and Team Members on sanitation procedures.
Ensure records accurately show safety of the products.
Maintain product temperatures at critical control points.
Check product temperatures regularly.
Responsible for numerous record documentations.
Safe and proper use and sanitation of all tools and equipment.
Willing to take on tasks around the bakehouse to help business demand

Able to work a flexible schedule based on the needs of the Facility, including nights, weekends, holidays as required
Desired Work Experiences
Serve-Safe Certified (preferred)
NSF and SQF experience (preferred)
HACCP certification
Food preparation (1 year)
The wage range for this position is $25.00 - $45.00 Hourly, commensurate with experience. Whole Foods Market offers “Whole Benefits".
