Circuit Design Engineer - Aurora, OH - Onsite

The selected candidate will be working on circuit design for power distribution products. This role can sit out of Aurora, OH or the Streetsboro, OH locations!

Job Responsibilities:

• Create product platforms consisting of analog and digital circuits, solid state power electronics, electromechanical and electrochemical systems, embedded real-time software, manufacturable product parts, and user interface software

• Design circuits to implement significant new features and bug fixes to existing product platforms

• Complete layout of complex, multi-layer boards (>12 layer)

• Select components and compile BOMs for designs

• Create release packages of documents to enter new designs into production

• Design and code software for some embedded systems and digital signal processors

• Participate in design reviews

• Manage product lifecycle trajectory

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, 3.2 GPA or higher

• 2-5 years of professional experience with the following:

• Analog and digital circuit design

• Real time embedded circuits and systems

• Knowledge of FPGA logic design and SoC implementation

• Familiarity with digital signal processing theory and components

• Successful design of multi-layer PCBs

• Hands-on experience building, soldering and testing SMT PCBs

• Course work or working knowledge using embedded Linux or similar RTOS

• Working knowledge of TCP/IP networking

• Ability to follow coding rules and standards

Plus:

• Masters Degree or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering

• PE
