Details: Job Title: Seamstress Location: Aurora, OH Start Date: Right Away Keywords: #Seamstress Job Description: Job Title: Seamstress Work Location - 1515 Danner Dr, Aurora, OH 44202-9273 Role Summary: Performs sewing of manufacturing assemblies using different types of machines. This is a seated position for long periods of time work quickly and efficiently while following manufacturing directions closely. May perform duties of an electromechanical assembler, include manufacturing, assembly, basic testing, reporting/documenting results of tests and assembly operations, packaging and shipping of products with significant supervision. Responsibilities: * Reads and follows work procedures and schematics or receives verbal instructions regarding duties to be performed. * Maintain accurate records of the work performed and other records as may be required by management. * Operates a sewing machine; a serger and a hemmer. * Performs sewing on manufacturing assemblies and various tasks following procedures, bills of materials, work instructions, and process aid sheets. * Perform routine maintenance and calibrations of the sewing equipment. * Maintains daily production output. * May participate in quality control inspections. * Works with team lead, engineers, supervisors, and managers to improve quality and process efficiency. * Other duties as assigned and may be asked to be included in Quality and LEAN activities, training sessions, and employee activity teams. * Comply with EHS and Quality procedures, regulations and policies. Required Qualifications * High School Diploma or local equivalent * Proficiency to understand and interpret basic written technical information * Demonstrated attention to detail and quality-minded work habits * Demonstrated sewing skills * Ability to communicate using English (or local language) Preferred Qualifications: * 6 months of manufacturing experience * Proficient with computer programs like Microsoft Word, Excel If you are interested in this role, please apply via the apply now link provided.
