ManpowerGroup Logistics Planner in Austin, Minnesota

Can you take charge and deliver on deadlines? Do you have great attention to detail? Can you perform in busy work situations with minimal supervision? Manpower has an immediate opening for a Logistics Planner at the Hormel Foods Corporate Office in Austin, MN.

Job Title: Logistics Planner

Location: Hormel Corporate Office-Austin, MN

Pay Range: $19.25/hour

What’s the Job?

  • Manages roughly 500 Refrigerated items at 3 distribution centers with measurable goals regarding fill rates

  • Has daily deadlines and cut-offs that must be met to accomplish Sales service and order fill requirements

  • Deploys and ensures proper code date rotation on all items assigned

  • Coordinates orders placed with co-packers, including submitting orders and coordinating transportation

  • Coordinates the direct shipment of product from Hormel Plants and multiple 3rd party warehouses

What’s Needed?

  • Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills

  • Experience with personal computers and word processing

  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Lotus Notes

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
