UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS AT AUSTIN Assistant Director of Sorority and Fraternity Life in Austin, Texas

Actively participate in the planning and implementation of area programs within Sorority and Fraternity Life which may include curriculum writing, workshop facilitation, large scale event coordination, facilitating relationships with stakeholders on and off campus, conduct program evaluation, and assessment.Advise the National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC), Texas Asian Pan-Hellenic Council (TAPC), and their member organizations, related committees and programs, and stakeholders that represent the community.Assist in the coordination and support of council recruitment efforts. Advise council leaders and officers on calendar planning, programming support, risk management, governing document review, leadership development, academic support, and interpreting relevant Institutional Rules.In collaboration with the Associate Director, recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate paraprofessional, student staff workers, and interns on an annual basis.Use digital tools and technology to advance and grow the promotion of the unit online, regularly craft and initiate tailored communication with assigned constituents, including advisors, alumni/ae, house corporation board members, house directors, inter/national staff members, university colleagues, community members and agencies.Manage the design and publication of office marketing materials. Create resources related to educational content areas for use by sorority and fraternity members, governing councils, and/or stakeholders.Serve as a member of the Sorority and Fraternity Life administrative team by participating in campus committees, task forces, campus orientations, resource fairs, requested speaking engagements, and other related administrative and programmatic functions as assigned; promote a safe, fun, and connected community; other duties as assigned
