GENERAL DESCRIPTIONDirects and manages the operations of the Government Contracts in the Child Support Division. Identifies resources necessary for effective coordination between the county and Child Support Program. Develops, manages, and monitors contracts that will help provide more efficient child support services and effective state-county partnership. Provides direction, guidance, and assistance to staff in program area; manages, prepares, and approves staff assignments and work schedules to accomplish goals, objectives, and tasks for management of contracts with county governmentsDevelops contract management objectives consistent with management direction; develops contract performance standards; evaluates operations; monitors and reports contract performance and compliancePlans, develops, implements, coordinates, monitors, and recommends policies, procedures, processes and problem resolution, and corrective action plans associated with cooperative agreements and other contracts with CSD business partnersAnalyzes and compiles management information reports and project status reports for the CSD management team; directs the preparation of budgets and provides final approvalRepresents the Government Contracts section on inter and intra organizational workgroups, task forces, and special projects; serves as agency point of contact for local, state, or federal agencies as it pertains to Government ContractsPerforms related work as assignedMaintains relevant knowledge necessary to perform essential job functionsAttends work regularly in compliance with agreed-upon work scheduleEnsures security and confidentiality of sensitive and/or protected informationComplies with all agency policies and procedures, including those pertaining to ethics and integrity Qualifications: MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSEducation: Graduation from high school or equivalentEducation: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university; experience in the following (or closely related) fields may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis: Child Support Program, government administration, information systems, or public administrationExperience: 11 years of full-time experience working in the following (or closely related) fields: Child Support Program, government administration, information systems, or public administration, with two of the of the years experience required to be in managementKnowledge of the principles and practices of public administrationSkill in handling multiple tasks, prioritizing, and meeting deadlinesSkill in effective oral and written communicationSkill in exercising sound judgment and effective decision makingAbility to receive and respond positively to constructive feedbackAbility to work cooperatively with others in a professional office environmentAbility to provide excellent customer serviceAbility to work in person at assigned OAG work location, perform all assigned tasks at designated OAG work space within OAG work location, and perform in-person work with coworkers (e.g., collaborating, training, mentoring) for the entirety of every work week (unless on approved leave)Ability to arrange for personal transportation for business-related travelAbility to work more than 40 hours as needed and in compliance with the FLSAAbility to lift and relocate 30 lbs.Ability to travel (including overnight travel) up to 5% PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSKnowledge of county government operations CTCM Certification TO APPLY To apply for a job with the OAG, electronic applications can be submitted through CAPPS Recruit.
