Key Responsibilities 1. Patient Assessment and Treatment Conduct thorough evaluations to assess patients' physical condition, medical history, and functional capabilities. Develop personalized treatment plans based on evaluation findings and individual patient goals. Administer appropriate physical therapy interventions, exercises, and modalities to improve strength, flexibility, endurance, and mobility. 2. Patient Education and Counseling Educate patients and their families on therapeutic exercises, activities of daily living modifications, and home exercise programs. Provide guidance on injury prevention strategies and techniques to optimize recovery and overall health. 3. Collaboration and Communication Collaborate closely with physicians, orthopaedic surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and treatment plans. Maintain clear and timely communication with referring providers and healthcare team members regarding patient progress, treatment updates, and discharge planning. 4. Documentation and Compliance Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with clinic policies, regulatory requirements, and insurance guidelines. Ensure timely completion of documentation, progress notes, and discharge summaries. 5. Professional Development Stay current with advancements in physical therapy techniques, research, and evidence-based practice. Participate in continuing education opportunities and professional development activities to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
