POLICY DEVELOMENTAssist in the writing, development, and management of policies, policy documentation and implementation plans that support the operationalization of programs, consistent with organizational philosophy and prioritiesServe as a point of contact for policy matters for faculty and staffPOLICY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM Manage policy management system (Power Document Management System (Power DMS)) in accordance with university policies, UT System Regents Rules, and state and federal laws and regulationsSafeguard confidential organizational information, such as archived documents, while supporting accountability and transparencyResponsible for managing policy approval workflows and policy review/renewalAssist other Dell Med departments as they transition policies to Power DMS COMMUNICATION AND COLLABORATIONIn partnership with leadership, develop plan for communication of new policies and implementation strategies Communicates effectively, courteously, and professionally with stakeholders Participates in standing committees (e.g., Clinical Quality Committee) and others as assignedCollaborates with Dell Med Risk and Compliance Office, UT Health Austin, Office of Research, Ambulatory Surgery Center, Medical Education and other clinical and administrative unitsMARGINAL/INCIDENTAL FUNCTIONSWhile this is intended to be an accurate reflection of the current position, it is not necessarily an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, skills, duties, requirements, or working conditions associated with the job.
