Neuromodulation

Our Neuromodulation business includes implantable devices compatible with mobile technology to help people who suffer from chronic pain and movement disorders. These non-opioid therapies allow us to provide interventional pain therapy to patients throughout the pain continuum.

The Opportunity

We’re actively recruiting for Sr. Manager - Sales Training, Chronic Pain Therapies in our Austin, TX office. This position will develop and implement training programs, education, and tools to support of US-based Field Personnel. Provides clear and concise information to trainees that enables understanding of processes, procedures, policies, and customer experience excellence. Responsible for maintaining compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and procedures. This individual will work to implement training curriculums by assessing and analyzing the individual new hire strengths and weaknesses around clinical, procedural, and business acumen, as well as an understanding of the treatment algorithms within the chronic pain management industry.

What You’ll Work On

  • Achievement of division and regional sales training objectives; goals; strategies and measures.

  • Identification development and implementation of product and sales skill training for new hires; incumbent members of assigned sales team; and internal departments as needed.

  • In conjunction with the respective DVP, will identify, develop, and deliver management training for assigned sales teams.

  • Provide continuous improvement for assigned business unit sales curriculum.

  • Manage assigned annual training and administrative budget.

  • Develop and execute annual training plan based on business priorities and training needs.

  • Consult with Marketing, Medical, and other departments in the development of effective selling and training materials.

  • In conjunction with DVP, support planning and implementation of sales meeting training that takes place.

  • Travel: 25% (domestic). Travel is expected within Area and to the Corporate office for Trainings.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

  • 5+ years’ experience leading sales training programs/departments.

  • 2+ years’ experience as a sales representative for a medical device manufacturer.

  • 3+ years’ experience leading, developing, and mentoring a sales and/or sales training team.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to learn, understand, and then train highly technical concepts to sales team members.

  • Ability to deliver effective training to large and/or small groups of commercial professionals.

  • Solid understanding/application of relevant Neuromodulation or Class II Medical Devices business concepts, procedures, and practices.

  • Exercises judgment within generally defined practices and policies in selecting suggested methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Sound knowledge of MS Office combined with presentation, training, and analysis software expertise.

The base pay for this position is $109,300.00 – $218,700.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
