We are searching for an experienced Audit Senior to join our team in the CPA industry, located in Indianapolis. This role involves identifying audit issues, updating internal control processes, identifying revenue streams and associated risks, and testing over compliances. The successful candidate will also be responsible for efficient beginning balance testing and ensuring the quality of work output.

Responsibilities:

• Identify issues during the audit process, conclude on how to handle them in the audited financial statements, and communicate with the team lead.

• Consistently update the Internal Control memo process with walk-throughs.

• Identify revenue streams, understand associated risks, and perform, complete and conclude on testing.

• Teach team members and clients about associated risks.

• Complete testing over compliances such as eligibility, reporting, and other areas outside cash disbursements and cash receipts.

• Efficiently perform beginning balance testing and articulate changes that need to be made in the prior year or current year.

• Ensure the quality of work output, with attention to detail and accuracy.

• Apply skills learned in one client setting to similar situations with other clients.

• Work well under pressure and meet deadlines.

• Maintain a client-centric approach to all matters, with positive communication skills.

Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in public auditing

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems and Audit Program

• Familiarity with CaseWare and CCH Sales Tax

• Knowledge of CobiT and other accounting functions

• Experience with audit engagements and auditing

• Ability to develop and execute audit plans

• Experience as an Audit Senior is a plus

• Experience conducting Annual External Audits

• Familiarity with financial and operational audits

• Knowledge of Fund Accounting, preferably within the Non-Profit sector.
