Job Description:

As an Embedded Software Engineer, your role involves the full cycle of software engineering. This includes:

Creating software specifications

Designing software

Coding and developing embedded systems

Testing software

Documenting software

You’ll also design, code, and test firmware for embedded systems, mostly using C, with some C++. You’ll work with our internal Engineering team on various projects for customers in different industries.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a similar field

At least 5 years of Firmware Engineering experience

Significant experience with Embedded RTOS (real-time operating systems), such as FreeRTOS, Azure (previously known as ThreadX), Zephyr, QNX/Neutrino, VxWorks, Integrity (Green Hills), MQX, uC/OS (“Micro-C OS” or Micrium OS), TI-RTOS, SEGGER embOS

Experience with communication protocols

Experience with embedded C or C++ development

Experience with ARM microcontrollers

Experience with device driver development

Nice to Have:

Experience with wireless communication protocols (Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Zigbee)

Experience working as an Embedded Engineer in a regulated environment (aerospace, medical device, pharma, automotive, government, etc.)
