Responsibilities
Under the direction of the Laboratory Supervisor CLS performs moderate and high complexity testing in areas of Blood Bank Chemistry Coagulation Hematology Microbiology Serology and Urinalysis following established laboratory procedures for specimen handling processing analysis and result reporting for patient specimens.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree (B. A. or B.S.) from a four-year college or university in Chemistry Biology or a related field which meet the requirements of LFS.
Above average communication and organizational skills.
Must have medical terminology basic computer terminology and data entry skills. Approved for Clinical Laboratory Scientist training through the State of California and San Jose State University.
Pay Range
$23.00 - $25.01 /hour
