We are seeking for Project Manager in the Construction/Contractor industry to join our team in Balch Springs, Texas. This is a direct hire opportunity that focuses on managing diverse projects, preparing contracts, and providing administrative and operational support on construction projects.

Responsibilities:

• Handle a diverse portfolio of construction projects, ensuring each project meets its technical complexity and size requirements.

• Prepare, manage, and process contracts, subcontracts, and change orders pertinent to the projects.

• Provide administrative support for the initial setup, ongoing maintenance, and project close-out procedures.

• Compile monthly pay requisitions for the owner and prepare subcontractor monthly pay estimates.

• Process and track requests for information (RFIs) related to assigned projects.

• Execute and submit monthly project schedule updates and process owner and subcontractor change orders.

• Transmit and track submittals for various projects and ensure all pertinent documents, drawings, warranties, and materials are obtained from subcontractors and suppliers for project closeout.

• Assist project team members in project management, material procurement, scheduling, and close-out processes by efficiently managing paperwork and providing timely communication to internal staff and external customers and subcontractors.

• Support administrative and operations personnel with related administrative tasks and duties.

• Assist the Estimating Department with bid documentation and specifications for the solicitation of subcontractors and suppliers.

Requirements • Proven experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry

• Proficient in CRM and Microsoft Office Suites

• Familiarity with construction management software like Primavera (P6)

• In-depth understanding of construction procedures, material, and project management principles

• Knowledge in construction engineering and civil engineering

• Strong expertise in managing commercial construction projects

• Excellent knowledge of relevant rules, regulations and quality standards in construction industry

• Demonstrable experience with construction documents, construction drawings, and construction plans

• Solid understanding of budget processes and contract management

• Experience in subcontract management and subcontract agreements

• Familiarity with bid documents and bid management

• Proven competence in contract pricing and contract specification

• Project Management Certification or PMP Certification is preferred

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills

• Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously

• Excellent problem-solving abilities.
