Pay Rate: $35 - $40 / hour

Shift Details:
- Monday through Friday 8am-4pm
We are seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Environmental Science teacher to join our team. As an Environmental Science teacher, you will be responsible for educating students on the various aspects of the environment, including ecosystems, conservation, pollution, and sustainability.
Key responsibilities:
Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the curriculum and educational standards
Create a positive and inclusive learning environment for students
Utilize a variety of instructional strategies to meet the needs of diverse learners
Incorporate hands-on activities, experiments, and field trips to enhance the learning experience
Assess student progress and provide feedback to support their growth and development
Collaborate with colleagues and administrators to support the overall success of the school community
Stay current on environmental issues, trends, and research to enhance your teaching practice
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Biology, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
Teaching certification or license in Maryland Environmental Science or a related subject
Previous teaching experience at the high school level is preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Passion for environmental education and a commitment to inspiring students to become environmentally conscious citizens
