Adecco US, Inc. Laboratory Administrative Admin Assistant in Baltimore, Maryland
This role is responsible for receiving test specimens in the laboratory and processing them according to established guidelines. After receiving test specimens, the accessioner will be required to input data from the documents accompanying specimen into the LIMS.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
• Receive, log, sort, assign accession number and maintain identifying number
• Documentation and verification of specimens and accompanying paperwork
• Accurately enter data into the LIMS
• Reviews all requisitions for missing information, works to obtain missing information in a timely manner, and distributes new information to all departments involved
• Reports problem holds and provides resolution in a timely manner
• Generate reports to review for errors
• Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times
• Coordinates and communicates issues to the customer service
• Performs other duties as assigned by laboratory manager or the team lead
• May be required to rotate and act as the team lead to:
Assist with training team members, maintaining SOPs
Ensure day-to-day accessioning tasks are completed on time by the team

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
• High School Diploma
• 1+ years of accessioning/Laboratory Technician experience preferred
• Proficient in Data Entry
• Meticulous attention to detail required
• Ability to communicate effectively in a team environment
• Strong multi-tasking and time management skills
• Basic understanding of the IT and EMR industry
support needed
Pay Details: $21.00 per hour
