Johns Hopkins University Research Program Assistant II in Baltimore, Maryland

The Department of Neurology is seeking a Research Program Assistant II to study brain health in within the context of neuroimmunology. Successful applicants will be personable and dedicated individuals with the ability and desire to help patients with diverse needs. Strong applicants must be well-organized and be able to work independently, as well as collaborate with the principal investigators and research team. In addition, applicants should be thorough and detail-oriented when performing all aspects of the research including when conducting cognitive testing, scoring, and record keeping.

Specific Duties & Responsibilities

  • Conduct participant telephone and in-person screening, schedule, and coordinate participant research visits.

  • Administer and score neuropsychological testing.

  • Administer cognitive testing within the MRI environment.

  • Manage the collection of and assure the accuracy of data for all participant visits.

  • Assist the principal investigators in monitoring study progress and defining and planning study goals.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or graduation equivalent.

  • Two years related experience.

  • Additional education may substitute for required experience, to the extent permitted by the JHU equivalency formula.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Preference will be given to someone with a Bachelor’s Degree in Neuroscience, Cognitive Science, Psychology, or related field.

  • Experience in neuropsychological test administration, MRI scanning, and adhering to IRB protocols.

Starting Salary Range: $15.50 - $26.00 HRLY (Commensurate with experience)

Employee group: Full Time

Schedule: M-F 8:30 am - 5:00 pm
