Deloitte Senior Full Stack Developer in Baltimore, Maryland

Work you'll do

  • Analyze and understand complex business and engineering challenges.

  • Understand user needs, and design end-to-end user experience by practical, reliable and efficient solutions.

  • Demonstrate clear proficiency in architecture (web app, micro-services-based APIs, data stores) and designing solutions using modern, scalable and open-source solutions.

  • Demonstrate experience in explaining complex solutions in simple and intuitive manner to different stakeholders.

  • Be able to see big picture of an enterprise, connected systems, interfaces, downstream impacts when designing solutions.

  • Collaborate with multiple small teams to design, develop and deliver product features incremental and iterative manner.

  • Be a champion for modern application development practices and mentor team members towards them.

  • Can demonstrate proficiency with automated test tools.

  • Experience working with healthcare data specifically Medicaid/Medicare is a huge plus.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree required

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain the required clearance for this role

  • Travel up to 20%

  • 6+ years of full stack development experience required

  • 3+ years of Agile cloud development experience required.

  • The ideal candidate will have excellent hands-on experience real time with Java/ J2EE framework (around 6+ years preferably) especially Spring, Springboot, AngularUI, DROOLS (rule engine) with Postgres database.

  • The ideal candidate will have experience with development and maintenance using GitHub and Jenkins.

  • Experience with unit testing and code coverage (SonarQube) frameworks

  • Jave experience required

  • Experience working in agile environments using tools like JIRA and Confluence

  • Experience working with AWS ecosystem and related tools and technologies.

    Preferred:

  • Experience with Maven and J-unit

  • Experience using Slack

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the loc ation at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $92,981-$179,438 .

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
