Main Functions:
Responsible for all aspects of drawings update in SPPID based on Red Line Markup received.
TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
•• Understanding and interpretation of different types of Engineering drawings
• Utilizing standard drawings update practice/ techniques
• Updating drawings or creation as per red line markups received
• Generating P&IDs using Drawings manager
• Raising Request for new symbols to adhere with standards
• Database checking by Engineering data Editor (EDE)
• Following the Quality check list defined for self QC before delivery
• Convert SPPID deliverable report in PDF
• Report generation like Piping List, Equipment List, Valve List, Instrument List etc.
• Resolve inconsistencies found on P&IDs
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
• • Strong verbal and written communication skills is a must have to effectively work with the engineering disciplines
• Strong computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Good knowledge and concept of drafting standards used in engineering industry, Legends, and symbols
• Knowledge about markup standards for Addition, Deletion & Update
• Diploma / Degree in mechanical engineering or specialized courses in drafting is desirable with preference for technical disciplines
• Working experience in Drafting PFD and P&ID for process plants using the software tool is preferred
• 2+ years of working experience in drafting P&ID’s in smart plant P&ID
