Job Title- Area Sales Manager

Location- Bangalore, India

This position is responsible for frontline sales activities for the assigned territories of Bangalore(Karnataka) for Mass Spectrometry Products.

  • Achieve assigned sales targets by Converting enquiries into orders with enhanced negotiation skills.

  • Promoting new Mass Spec applications to existing customers, increasing their current scope of usage of the instruments and generation of new opportunities in same accounts.

  • Explore markets like small molecule pharma, DMPK, CRO, Food, Biopharma, Clinical and Academia/Omics for MS opportunities.

  • Meet sales productivity and win rate targets with the collaboration of marketing and SDMs to improve funnel health and win rate.

  • Provide support to Credit Collections team for recovery of payment, agency commission and EMD.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

  • Min 3 Years of experience in a B2B, commercial/Corporate sales for high value capital products with the graduation in Biotechnology, Bio chemistry, Analytical chemistry or life sciences.

  • Exposure to sales of mass spectrometry or related instruments (GC, LCMS) is highly desirable; experience in sales of high value capital equipment is essential.

  • Excellent communication skills (written, oral, presentation) and good command over the English Language

  • Experience and ability to build relationships, influence people; good negotiation and interpersonal skills

  • Demonstrated experience of being a team player.
