Assistant tax Manager

Band – P3

Overview:

This is an Assistant tax Manager position for Collins Aerospace –Engineering having locations in Hyderabad and Bangalore. This position will report to the tax Manager. This position will extensively partner with local and global stakeholders (Engineering, Global and local finance, tax, Supply Chain, Legal, HR etc.)

• Managing ongoing direct tax and transfer pricing compliance related activities;

• Liaising and oversight over outsourced tax partners

• Preparation of advance tax forecast and review of withholding tax returns

• Review of submission in matters related to tax litigation.

• Supporting tax accounting activities for India

• Knowledge of SEZ compliance; Partnering with outsourced vendors on compliance related activities

• FEMA related compliance activities related to import and export.

• Supporting the business leaders on transaction related tax questions

• Partnering with the Corporate tax team on global tax projects and filing of returns of overseas entities in India

• Oversight over Companies Act compliance, documentation and submission

Skillset requirement

• Expert Knowledge of tax laws and FEMA

• Expert knowledge of SEZ law

• Working knowledge of Companies Act including compliance

• Working knowledge of SAP and HFM

• Working knowledge of Microsoft office tools (Excel, PPT, Word)

• Strong analytical skills

• Ethical, reliable, accountable and team player

• Self-motivated individual who can foster a culture of business partnership and support

Education qualification / Experience

• Chartered Accountant with 4 to 5 years of post-qualification experience

• Global MNC experience (including IT / ITES) with matrixed reporting is an added advantage;
