We are looking to hire individuals with experience with software development and integration in clinical and research settings, and who can help us sport the next wave of technical challenges using the latest cloud-based, big-data, and rich analytics toolsets.

You should be skilled and comfortable spanning the full development lifecycle, from requirements identification and prototyping, through design and implementation, to customer acceptance, delivery, and support. Purpose:

DevOps Engineer responsible for Infrastructure Management across AWS environments and creating Installations for Life Sciences Group software products.

Roles:

  • Improve reliability, quality, and time-to-market of our suite of software solutions.

  • Measure and optimize system performance, with an eye toward pushing our capabilities forward, getting ahead of customer needs, and innovating to continually improve.

  • Provide primary operational support and engineering for multiple large, distributed software applications.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with development teams to improve services through thorough testing and release procedures.

  • Participate in system design consulting, platform management, and planning.

  • Create sustainable systems and services through automation.

  • Maintain a balance between feature development speed and reliability while adhering to well-defined service level objectives.

  • Create and uphold detailed documentation for all work

Candidate Requirement:

Education & Experience levels :

Bachelor’s in engineering/Computer Science or master’s degree.

Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills to present technical information to both business and technology teams with clarity and precision.

  • Work with worldwide teams on product releases and implement to the enterprise release process.

  • Continualadvancement in process with security standard methodologies and cost-effectiveness.

  • Exposure to AWS Services, Identity Access Management, and Account management.

  • Experience in building automation.

  • Experience in working with geographically distributed teams.

  • Experience in CMake. Jenkins, GIT [github actions], Wix/msi/windows installers, 7Zip, Docker, Atlassian tools (Confluence, Jira).

  • Experience in Visual Studio 2019 and more.

  • Experience in tools like ANT\Maven.

  • Experience in working on Windows, Linux, Mac OS.

  • Experience in Shell scripting, batch scripting, C# or Python.

  • Experience with databases, persistence frameworks, and SQL

  • Outstanding interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with teams of diverse strengths.

  • Ability to understand and debug technical issues.

  • Excellent analytical and technical skills.

  • Demonstrating experience and understanding of trends and technologies to apply technical knowledge in solving issues creatively and effectively.

Technical Skills

Proficiency in AWS : Demonstrated expertise in AWS services and infrastructure, including cloud computing, storage, and networking.

Experience with Jenkins : Hands-on experience with Jenkins automation tool, focusing on building, testing, and deploying software.

Creating Installers with Wix : Ability to develop and configure software installers using Wix, ensuring seamless installation processes for end-users.

Knowledge of Github and Github Actions : Familiarity with version control using Github, along with setting up automated workflows and CI/CD pipelines with Github Actions.

Soft Skills:

Problem-solving : Proficient problem-solving abilities to troubleshoot issues, optimize processes, and drive efficient solutions in a dynamic DevOps environment.

Collaboration and Continuous Learning : Strong collaborative skills to work effectively in cross-functional teams, coupled with a commitment to continuous learning and professional growth.

Preferred Skills and Experience :

Good to have experience working on life sciences Domain and exposure to instrument software.
