GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF ROLE:
Assist onshore catastrophe management managers in assessing catastrophe modeling- data analytic function
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :
Working in Impact Forecasting team, and providing customers with required Technical Solution and support for using Aon’s proprietary catastrophe modeling software ELEMENTS
Analysts are expected to become proficient in ELEMENTS product, Catastrophe modeling practices and features.
Develop a working knowledge of ELEMENTS, both software usage and basic model methodology.
Act as the single point of contact for our clients in order to provide ELEMENTS implementation and product support.
Investigate client questions and collaborate with other team members to resolve the issue and communicate status to client.
Participate in conducting ELEMENTS workshops and smaller group trainings.
Run client portfolios, report findings and help analyze and explain observed patterns.
Assist with Model Sign off process with main focus on implementation of the models into the ELEMENTS platform.
Become advanced user of SQL and Excel for data mining and manipulation.
Develop ability to explain standard analyses with professional written and oral communication. Provide meaningful analysis with guidance from senior team members.
