Cadence Design Systems, Inc. Lead Solutions Engineer - AE in Bangalore, India

Supports more-senior FAST roles in identifying opportunities, providing advisement on products and services and developing technical solutions Supports senior level FAST AEs to analyze customers’ immediate needs and make decisions on solutions implementation and execution Supports development of solutions to complex and strategic customer technical needs in an accelerated timeframe Supports the creation of demos/presentations based on single product knowledge and developing business experience Assists in delivering simple solutions or portions of more-complex solutions for pre-sales engagements or services projects as a standalone or as part of deliverables within a larger engagement Starts to work independently under direct supervision at Cadence or customer facilities to deliver quality results according to schedule requirements Exercises judgment within defined procedures/ practices to determine appropriate actions or to recommend alternative resolutions Works on problems of moderate scope that may require analysis of situations, data or tool problems Impacts own team and other teams whose work activities are closely related; may have a negative or positive impact on customer relations and/or Cadence credibility May suggest improvements to existing processes and solutions to improve the efficiency of the teamAE3 Collaborates with team members and more experienced colleagues Shares status/ideas openly with project or sales team and/or manager Has limited interactions with customers, typically communicating project status or relaying information in a scripted formatAE3 Technical: Solid understanding of CDN tool set; knowledgeable of at least 50% of a given flow; detailed knowledge in one CDN tool, learning others; ability to analyze customer's environment and evaluate appropriate solutions; learning competitive tools/technologies Soft Skills: Developing verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills; developing analytical skills; understands and can translate customer requirements into work product with ongoing support from more senior engineers Business Acumen: Has a basic understanding of Cadence customers' marketplace and objectives, including key players and product lines; gains a basic understanding of the customers' business products and strategies; understands customers' success criteria; complies with and has a basic understanding of Products & Services' business processesAE3 Bachelors in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science and 4-7 years of related experience, or Masters + 3-6 years of related experience
