Job description

  • Requires candidate to have basic supply chain management knowledge and good understanding of .NET platform.

  • Prior experience in working in Logistics related business processes is preferred. Documents logistics business processes and translates business requirements into IT requirements.

  • Performs the analyst role and communicates both to the business users and IT team.

  • Assists in testing IT solutions to ensure it meets business requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Negotiate with customers to design solutions to address complex cross functional needs.

  • Maintains business process documentation for logistics areas.

  • Writes solution documents to solve business requirements and works with IT team to help understand business requirements. Understanding of .NET will help with specifications and testing.

  • Performs unit and integration testing of IT solutions.

  • Hels business perform User Acceptance Testing by preparing data and documenting defects and fixes.

  • Works with support team to provide documentation and help provide support after going live of projects.

  • Travels to logistics sites to provide specific support on a need basis.

  • Demonstrates knowledge in supply chain management and logistics processes

  • Interprets internal/external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes or services
