Job Title: Senior Administrator: FP&A support

The Global Shared Services team in MBS, India plays a crucial role in this mission, working together with our counterparts across the globe by providing various support services in Finance and Business.

This role will be a part of Global Finance Shared Services Team, India which provides range of Finance Support services such as Controllership, Business & Ops, Corp FP&A, Treasury, Credit & Collection etc.

This role is essential in supporting the FP&A and Business Function, by working closely and independently to ensure timely execution and delivery of commitments. The candidate will be expected to meet the expectations of our functional stakeholders effectively. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a high level of accountability, strong work ethics, and a willingness to take on additional responsibilities as needed.

Responsibilities Include:

Tasks and responsibilities of the position:

  • Provides regular reports to Corp/ BUs and ensure accuracy of the financials such as Commercial Sales Reports, SG&A Reports, Working Capital Reports.

  • Support Plant Operation data as requested by stakeholders.

  • Support in preparing vs Budget, vs Estimate, vs PY walks and/or variance analysis.

  • Supporting team members with the Budget and Forecast process by coordinating with multiple stakeholders and ensuring smooth process run.

  • Handle ad-hoc requests from Stakeholders promptly and effectively.

  • Support Business continuity plan including creating SOPs for activities performed and cross training to support team.

  • Ensure compliance with US GAAP accounting standards and internal Momentive financial policies.

  • Continue to look at possibility of standardization and process improvements

To produce on time accurate reporting, continuous improvement, supporting internal/global financial projects as required, adaptability

Key Relationships:

Global FP&A Leader, Business Finance Leader, Commercial Finance Leader, Operations Finance Leaders, and Local Management

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum Graduate degree required in finance, accounting, business, or related field or MBA specializing in Finance.

  • 2-3 years finance experience in an industrial/finance setting.

  • Good MS Excel skills required.

  • Fluency in English required.

  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams in a global environment.

  • Service mentality, Proactive & problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to meet work and project deadlines producing high quality output.

  • Good prioritization and organizational skills to manage multiple deliverables.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • SAP & BW knowledge

  • Experience with Visualization tools (Power BI and Tableau)
