BlackBox Senior Cybersecurity Consultant in Bangalore, India
Job Description:
This position is responsible for day-to-day administration of network Firewalls/VPN, IPS/IDS, Proxy systems, designed to protect networks and systems from malicious/unauthorized network access or misuse.
Primary responsibilities include, add or modification of Firewalls/VPN, IPS/IDS & Proxy rules/policies to meet customer requirements, validating user requests.
Troubleshooting Firewalls/VPN, IPS/IDS & Proxy fault conditions and coordinating deployment or rebuild efforts.
Provides 24x7 on-call support, which has roaster that is rotated.
Utilizes existing tools and leverage innovative solutions to automate tasks with an emphasis on scalability and reliability.
Provides technical support for activities that improve the security posture of client networks.
Updates incident, request and change management records.
Participate in problem management and RCA analysis.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or a related field is required.
Strong experience in standard Enterprise Network Firewalls such as Check Point, Fortinet, and Palo Alto Networks (proficiency in any two technology).
Experience supporting Zscaler & Forcepoint Proxy technologies and policy management.
Experience on WAF solution on cloud such as Imperva, Akamai, F5, and Fortinet (proficiency in any two technology).
Ability to manage Provider-1 and/or Panorama management.
Self-motivated, attitude of ownership, and a strong desire to learn.
Demonstrated ability to systematically troubleshoot problems in complex systems and network environments.
Palo Alto Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE), Check Point Engineer (CCSE), Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Certified Ethical Hacker, CompTIA Security+ certifications preferred.
