Overview:

In this role the Senior Lead Engineer (Interiors) will be working and driving the Verification and Validation activities in the Aerospace domain, developing tools/software required to Automate the End-to-End Verification and deploying the latest verification techniques to reduce the cost and produce best in class software. Actively participate in SBU interactions on daily basis on work progress, technical discussions, and Audits.

Position: Senior Lead Engineer (P3) (V&V)

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Lead Software Verification and Validation activities as per DO 178B/C, DO-330 and DO-331 standards from planning to Certification phase.

  • Proficient in Hardware- Software Integration Level at black box level, Emulator Based testing.

  • Proficient in defining Requirements for Software Test Equipment for verification.

  • Proficient in writing and reviewing the High-Level Requirements from System Requirement and Low Level Requirements.

  • Proficient in Tool Qualification Activities as per DO178C.

  • Proficient in performing structural coverage and Model coverage Analysis.

  • Proficient in performing Memory, Stack and Timing margin analysis.

  • Able to lead and demonstrate the verification process and artifacts in SOI audits independently.

  • Hands on experience in developing verification tools using NI-LabVIEW, Python to achieve 100% Automation in Verification.

  • Knowledge of communication protocols like CAN, ARINC 429, AFDX, Time Triggered Protocol.

  • Experience on usage of the Configuration Management and Change management Tools (Polarion, DOORs, Synergy, Tortoise SVN)

  • Able to quickly learn the new technologies and deploy them with minimum dependenc

  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross functional team for technical discussions, demonstrations.

  • Interface with SBU and customer for Audits, Inspections and Performance metrics.

  • Participate and lead team continuous Improvement activities and demonstrate effective implementation using VSM, RRCA, Fishbone, 5 Why, Mistake proofing etc.

  • Able to work in AGILE team with good knowledge on agile techniques/frameworks like Scrum, Kanban, Program Increment, Feature Development, User Story development and backlog tracking.

  • Hands-on experience in Dev-Ops and usage of tools like JAMA, JEERA, Jenkins, GitHub, is preferred.

  • Hands-on experience in MIL, SIL, HIL is preffered.

  • Be the primary point of contact to define and own estimation, scope, and deliver the work product on time with Quality.

  • Ability to identify Risks and Opportunities to ensure seamless execution.

  • Support project management by providing periodic status and required metrics data.

  • Mentor team members on technical aspects and provide support in developing the team competency by identifying the right skill gap and suggesting ways to improve on it.

  • Ability to Innovate, Research, performing trade studies and prepare white papers or order Recommend new technologies to improve product development activities.

    Basic Qualifications:

  • 8 to 12 years of experience in Software Verification, Automated Testing and exposure to different activities in Software Verification Life Cycle.

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in E&C/EEE/CS/IS/IT Engineering.

    Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in HSIT, SSIT and LLT.

  • Aerospace domain

  • Ability to understand Software High Level and Low Level Requirements.

  • TestStand and LabVIEW working knowledge desirable.

  • Testing as per D0178C.

  • Leading certification Audits
