This position is to grow and scale Bangalore, India based Analytics Center of Excellence (COE) within Caterpillar’s Global Finance Services Division. This COE will provide business partnering support to global Product lines and Facility Operations teams as well as consolidation and forecasting support for facilities, product lines, divisions and Caterpillar reporting segments. The COE works together with finance resources in the various divisions to accomplish these tasks. The team is expected to grow to 3X it’s current size over the next three years. (Future size 200+ employees.)

Candidates should have demonstrated the ability to recruit, onboard, develop and retain talented teams. They should also have demonstrated strong executive presence and the ability to deal with leaders at all levels of the business including senior executives.

JOB DUTIES

  • Partner with Global Process Owners to support Bangalore, India based Analytics Center of Excellence (COE) team

  • Grow and develop leaders within the COE to scale and grow our Global Operating Model

  • Recruit and develop the team to support the Global Finance Organization

  • Drive standardization, simplification and automation across business processes supported by the COE

  • Deliver value-added insights from the COE to support profitable growth

  • Provide governance and controls to ensure highest standards of quality, timeliness and responsiveness

  • Build business acumen for the COE to enhance support for Global Finance

  • Customer relationship management with Global Finance team

SKILLS

  • Must be visionary, exhibiting strong initiative and intellectual curiosity

  • Financial analysis, financial forecasting and modeling skills.

  • Strong leadership and communication skills with ability to work with multiple teams and stakeholder groups to drive outcomes

  • Knowledge or interest in exploring new technologies

  • The incumbent must have experience working in a global environment and have a global mentality

  • The position requires excellent interpersonal skills and is required to deal with sensitive issues, develop others, and persuade others both inside and outside the department to take specific actions
