Strategic Systems Programs Office PROGRAM ANALYST in Bangor, Washington

Summary You will serve as a PROGRAM ANALYST in the Future Operations Division of STRATEGIC WEAPONS FACILITY PACIFIC. Responsibilities You will serve as senior staff analyst, evaluator, and/or advisor to management on the effectiveness and efficiency with which agencies and their components carry out their assigned programs and functions. You will provide planning, assessment, coordination and advisory services for a variety of issues regarding organizational readiness and identification of required contingency and support plans. You will use the military decision making process to develop feasible, cost-effective solutions to complex security problems. You will lead and/or conduct studies, surveys, reviews, and research projects intended to inform future plans and resourcing strategies. You will coordinate and liaise with internal and external customers across a broad spectrum of DoD, the Intelligence Community, other U.S. government organizations, academia, and the defense industrial base. You will coordinate and liaise at conferences, briefings, and meetings to solidify command/naval positions, to persuade management, or to accept controversial changes/objectively based information for making decisions on aspects of agency operations. You will manage project activities, progress, and scheduling to ensure timeliness and successful performance. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-02 pay band (GS-05 through GS-11 equivalency) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Planning, analyzing, and evaluating operational programs to lead initiatives (e.g. project activities, budget plans, assessing risks, coordinating with stakeholders, program readiness, resource analysis, effectiveness studies) for the enhancement, efficiency or effectiveness of agency operations.
