Philips Manufacturing Equipment Engineer in Batam Island, Indonesia

Job Summary:

Responsible for the development and improvement of processes, tools and equipment of the Manufacturing systems, leading to predictable, reliable, stable and efficient production processes.

Your role:

  • Conceptual, design and realization of new equipment/machine for Philips manufacturing line.

  • Make improvement on existing equipment/machine in ways such as eliminating 7 lean waste and converting existing manual process to automated process.

  • Programming PLC and HMI based on control philosophy, logic matric, sequence, and flow chart to maximize solution based on required target and specification.

  • To provide required detail information for new project such as providing electrical and control system requirement, estimating project cost and making project timeline.

  • To support equipment manager during the development for new technology and new process study according to company technology roadmap plan.

  • To produce a proper equipment release/handover document according to the required company/department guideline.

  • To create synergy and work closely with relevant department.

You're the right fit if:

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechatronics engineering.

  • Must have experience in design and setting up new equipment or machine for manufacturing process 5+ years.

  • Hands on PLC Control and PLC Programming both using structure text and ladder diagram.

  • Must know how to read/write Electrical flow chart and schematic diagram.

  • Familiar with pneumatic system, sensors, measurement system and vision system.

  • Must possess problem solving skills and have a good understanding on Problem solving tools.

  • Fluent in English both verbal and written.

  • Team up, take ownership and continuous learning attitude.
