This role offers competitive compensation ( $22-$23/hour ) with the potential to convert to a permanent role at the end of the 6 month contract period.
Available Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM; Hybrid work schedule

Requirements:
Associate's Degree in Accounting/Business or equivalent experience in a business environment.
Minimum 3+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable.
Experience with General Ledger account reconciliations and cash applications.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Access database is required.
Knowledge of JDE and Cognos a plus.
Description:
Process unapplied cash within the ERP system, ensuring accurate application to customer accounts.
Facilitate manual posting of various payments (EDI, wire, lockbox, credit card) and miscellaneous credits.
Interact with customers to resolve discrepancies and ensure correct initial payment posting.
Assist Credit department in clearing unapplied cash and credit card issues.
Perform monthly receipt purging and ensure all cash receipt batches are posted within the ERP system.
Monitor the cash application process for timeliness and accuracy, minimizing errors.
Analyze departmental processes and transactions related to cash posting.
Research and forward credit card chargeback issues to the appropriate teams.
Identify potential overpayments and duplications in customer credit card requests, and recommend corrective actions.
Educate associates on new cash posting procedures.
Collaborate with the Invoicing Specialist Manager to recommend cash posting improvements for better cash flow.
Lead operational initiatives and projects to improve cash posting processes.
Pay Details: $22.00 to $23.00 per hour
