Robert Half Financial Project Manager in Baton Rouge, Louisiana
Description We are in search of a Financial Project Manager to join our team in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The role primarily involves rectifying and optimizing our current systems, offering daily accounting support, suggesting process improvements, and providing user training and support. This position offers a short term contract employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the identification and resolution of system discrepancies, errors, and inconsistencies.
• Optimize the efficiency and performance of our system.
• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data by implementing best practices.
• Offer assistance with daily accounting tasks, including generation of reports, making journal entries, and conducting account reconciliations.
• Provide guidance on best practices for using accounting features within new ERP system, helping to streamline accounting processes and reduce manual effort.
• Analyze current business processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement recommended process changes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Develop and document new processes and procedures.
• Provide training and support to end-users on system features and functionalities, answering user questions and resolving issues.
• Create user guides and documentation. Requirements • Proficient knowledge of Accounting Software Systems is required.
• Must be familiar with various Business Systems.
• Ability to manage and oversee all Accounting Functions.
• Must have experience in using NetSuite.
• Capable of preparing and managing Journal Entries.
• Expertise in Account Reconciliation is a must.
• Should have experience in System Implementation.
• Strong skills in Business Process Improvement are required.
• Ability to handle Month End Close tasks.
• Should have a deep understanding of Financial Reporting.
• Experience in Fund Accounting is desirable.
