Grace Health Patient Financial Services Representative in Battle Creek, Michigan
Our Patient Accounts Team is growing, and we would love to add you to our team! Grace Health is looking for an individual to help patients learn about and apply for financial assistance options including internal assistance programs, Medicaid and Marketplace applications. We offer competitive wages based on experience and up to 3 weeks of PTO in the first year! Other perks include no nights or weekend work.

EXAMPLES OF DUTIES: (This list may not be all inclusive.)
Assists patients with application process for schedule of discounts program.
Assists patients with Medicaid and Marketplace enrollment
Responsible for identifying patients with active Sliding Fee Discount nearing termination date
Responsible for incoming department calls and voicemails
Responsible for insurance Correspondence and Return Mail
Responsible for Good Faith Estimates
Distribute outreach materials to patients to build coverage option awareness
Maintains strictest confidentiality

Requirements:
High school Diploma or GED
0-2 years of experience in a health care organization preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience
Valid Driver's License
Licenses & Certifications:
1. Certified Application Counselor (CAC) a. CAC required within first year of employment b. Maintain CAC status annually
